On September 19 and 20, El Country Park will host “The World in the Heart of Bogotá,” a festival where attendees can enjoy cuisine from 12 countries with free admission.
Organized by the Secretariat of Culture, the event aims to make fine dining accessible to all and cement the city’s status as one of the continent’s great gastronomic capitals.
Local startups and cultural exhibitions
In addition to offering traditional international dishes, the event will feature the participation of businesses linked to the Sabor Bogotá and Hecho en Bogotá programs.
The culinary experience will be accompanied by a cultural program that includes dance and music performances, as well as a crafts exhibition.
The event will also provide a platform for special guests from the Petronio Álvarez Pacific Music Festival, with the goal of offering support and raising awareness for the affected areas in that region.
An event with a social purpose
The event, which will allow attendees to bring their pets, will have a charitable focus on both days.
According to the organizers, 3% of total sales generated at the food stalls will be allocated to the Misión Nutrición Bogotá initiative.
Visitors will be able to explore the various food stations, attend live performances, and directly support the entrepreneurs’ initiatives throughout the weekend.
