In the heart of the La Candelaria neighborhood, Warmi is transforming the fruits of the jungle into ice cream and other cold desserts.
Located at Calle 12c #1-37, this Amazonian ice cream shop has brought uncommon flavors, such as arazá and copoazú, to the capital.
Its sustainable approach focuses on working hand-in-hand with women from the Amazon to connect visitors with Brazil’s roots through cuisine.
Warmi Ice Cream: A Menu Inspired by the Jungle
The goal of the project, as explained by its owner, Paola Jiménez, is to establish a showcase in Bogotá to highlight the region’s rich variety of fruits.
The shop’s display case features a variety of soft-serve ice cream and popsicles made with ingredients that are unconventional in this part of the country.
One of the signature dishes is a cone combining açaí ice cream and yogurt, served with an arazá cookie.
In addition to frozen desserts, Warmi’s shelves offer other local products, such as packaged copoazú and arazá pulp, and bags of coffee grown in Caquetá.
The menu also features complementary beverages such as Amazonian sodas, herbal teas, and lattes.
The shop is open to the public from Friday through Monday, with continuous hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
